In-Home Support

As a holistic postpartum and lactation provider, I believe in supporting the time needed to rest and recover after childbirth. The Fourth Trimester is a sacred, and often forgotten about, period that requires women to turn inward and focus on their own personal healing and nourishment. In a society where women are encouraged to “bounce back,” it is my passion is to help women lean into the deep rest postpartum requires. Whether you have just given birth, adopted, or experienced loss , I am honored to gently guide you towards your intuition and facilitate healing. Here is some of the care I provide in-home:

  • Seasonal, nourishing postpartum specific meals prepared in your home + 4th trimester nutrition education & recipes for additional meal/freezer prep.

  • Grocery shopping before visits. Includes ingredients for meals prepped during visits and anything else you may need. Receipts will be provided for reimbursement and due at the end of each visit.

  • Personal herbal recommendations to support healing after birth (preparation as applicable).

  • Birth processing and general emotional + mental support while healing from childbirth.

Scope of Services

In my postpartum practice, I provide mother-centered care. I believe the mother is the foundation and the care/resources she receives are then passed down to the baby, her family, and later her community. I also believe the mother/baby bond to be a sacred relationship that takes time and connection. Overall, my goal is to support the mother/birthing person in rest, healing, nourishment, connection, and finding peace & joy in their postpartum. This includes the offerings listed above.

With that, I do not provide care that is solely baby focused. This might include caring for the baby alone, supervising for extended periods of time, overnight care, or anything that requires me to focus my attention entirely on the baby. I am here to support you in building a life long bond with your child.

Additionally, my services include light housekeeping such as running the vacuum, folding laundry, washing dishes/bottles, cleaning up from preparation of meals, etc. If you require extensive housekeeping, we can discuss adding a housekeeper to your postpartum care team. It truly takes a village.

Lastly, my scope of doula services is within the realm of postpartum. I do not provide birth doula or midwife assistant services. However I work closely with many birth doulas and professionals in the area to compliment the care they provide. Please refer to the Palouse Doula Collective for birth doula support.
